"Me: Need new clothes - buy new make up" saw this quote several days ago on tumblr (mine is evahalinor) and decided to show you some new products which I got recently. I'm a big make-up lover but a little bit conservative as well - I prefer buying and using the same products years around. But this summer I decided to go a little bit crazy (youtube beauty gurus must be laughing here) and try out something new. Btw, what are your favorite products? Maybe next time I'll try something from your lists!
Dior Addict Lip Experts Duo - Lip Glow (right) and Lip Maximizer (left)
I'm not the one who loves bold lipstick colors or 3D lip glosses. When it comes to my lips, I prefer keeping them as simple as possible - usually it's just a lip balm which moisturizes them throughout the day. But because this fall season will be full of events, parties and shootings, I need something more... serious. But I still want to keep my lips as natural as possible. So, when I was wandering around a department store, I was about to give up my search and go away, but I suddenly remembered me using Dior lip gloss (I don't remember the exact name; I finished it in winter) and went stright to Dior corner. Then, after another 15 minutes of trying out all the lip products, I decided on Dior Lip Maximizer, and you can't even imagine my feelings when assistants told me that the last product was bought just 30 minutes before me! Instead, they had this lip gloss in a gift-set, so... I took it. And was surprised by how these two products perfectly work together! Lip glow makes my lips look more "full" and radiant (I think it's because a very special formula which makes Lip Glow adapt to your lip color) and Lip Maximizer gives me a little bit of shine. Depending on my mood, during the day I use either Lip Glow or Lip Maximizer, and when I have an event, I add a little bit of the other product. Happy girl!
Benefit Fine One One stick
Those of you who are here from the first posts on my blog know how much I love Benefit cosmetics. All the products of this brand not only have excellent package but also work extremely well! Though I love doing my own make-up, sometimes I just have time for only foundation and brows and my face looks rather flat. Contouring&highlightning have never been my strong side and I tend to overdo blushing too. So, while scrolling down my instagram feed I saw the post of my favorite make up artist of her using this product... It took her less than 10 seconds to apply highlight, bronzer and blush, thanks to this stick! Without further do, I literally run to the nearest store and bought it. Now I'm a girl who can do her previously 30-minutes-make-up in 1 minute. #blessed

Make Up For Ever STEP1 Skin Equalizer Redness Correcting Primer 5 and Too Faced Shadow Insurance Anti-Crease Eye Shadow Primer
Once, our local make up artist told me that in order to cover my red spots and post-acne scars I should try green concelar. As my memory loves playing jokes at me, I remembered this advice only 3 monthes after I actually got it when I suddenly saw green bottle in a store. There is no beautiful story - green concelar were available only at Make Up For Ever section, so I got it. I used it only once and it worked very well (probably because these beauty products are for professional make up artists and they are supposed to work perfectly). Another primer is from Too Faced company, I ordered it from asos. com. It's a special eye make-up primer and it saves my eye-lids from breaking down. To tell the truth, I use eye beauty products once in a blue moon, so... I probably won't notice any improvements when I will be wearing it.
H&M BROW PRO KIT in Espresso and MAC 208 Angled Brow Brush
Brows... For me it's the most important step in make up as good brows can win the look and bad brows can spoil the best one. I lovelovelove doing my brows and tried out lots of producrs and finally can say that powder and wax working best for me (also it's easier to apply). In make up stores I saw mostly two-shadow packages, but I've always wanted to try three-color one. Surprisingly, I found the exact colors in H&M beauty section! I have not tried this kit yet, But I'm sure these colors will work very well with my face. For applying powder I bought a MAC 208 Brush because it's the smallest one among MAC brow brushes family (the smaller the better; small brushes always give me more control over applying my make up). So, I can't wait to use this kit!
